Question: What's the filing deadline for a personal injury claim in California?

Sample answer: In California, a personal injury claim generally must be filed within 2 years of the date the cause of action accrues. Tolling, the discovery rule, and separate rules for medical malpractice and public-entity defendants can change that deadline.

Citation: Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 335.1

Verify before relying: confirm citations and current amendments before filing or advising a client. Not legal advice.

These answers are canned examples. The real assistant answers your own questions.

  • Your records stay in your workspace

Cases, clients, documents and invoices are filtered to your account or, on a firm plan, to your firm. A client portal login sees only that client's own matters, their own unpaid invoices and their own message thread with the firm.

  • Sign-in you can harden

Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes and sessions use signed, HttpOnly cookies. Any account can add authenticator-app two-factor sign-in, with backup codes.

  • Card numbers never reach Demole

Subscription payments run on Dodo Payments' hosted checkout. Demole stores only Dodo's customer and subscription IDs, never card details.

  • AI you control and can check

Only what you type or attach is sent to the AI provider for your plan (Google's Gemini API on paid plans, Groq on the free plan); stored case records are never added on their own. Every answer is a draft to verify against primary sources.
